UBTech Alpha Mini
A pocket-sized humanoid companion that talks, teaches and entertains
The UBTech Alpha Mini is a portable intelligent humanoid robot that packs remarkable personality into a 24.5 cm, 700 g frame. Fourteen high-precision servo joints give it fluid, lifelike movement — it walks, dances, performs kung fu and push-ups, and even recovers by itself after a fall. A 13-megapixel autofocus camera enables facial, object and storybook recognition, while a four-microphone array picks up voice commands from three to five metres away. Expressive LCD eyes display real-time emotion, and dual stereo speakers bring conversation, stories and music to life. Connectivity is equally capable: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and 4G LTE via nano-SIM support real-time text, voice and video communication wherever Alpha Mini goes. For learning, a colour-block drag-and-drop programming platform introduces children to coding logic, combining vision, sensing and voice into hands-on STEM projects. From family companionship and children's education to social entertainment and business settings, Alpha Mini delivers a rich multi-modal human-robot experience in a package light enough to take anywhere.
