DEEP Robotics Lite3
Extraordinary locomotion in a compact, open quadruped platform
The DEEP Robotics Lite3 is a compact, lightweight quadruped robot that brings advanced legged mobility to classrooms, laboratories and development teams. Weighing from 12 kg with a 610 × 370 × 406 mm standing footprint, it combines a 50% increase in joint torque with an upgraded AI motion algorithm to deliver genuinely dynamic performance — climbing 40° slopes, clearing 18 cm steps and executing jumps, front flips and other high-difficulty manoeuvres at peak speeds of up to 4 m/s. Twelve actuated joints respond to real-time control at up to 1 kHz, while onboard depth sensing supports visual following and obstacle avoidance; the LiDAR configuration adds fully autonomous navigation. Built for open secondary development, Lite3 provides motion-control SDKs, APIs and perception interfaces with sample code, supporting ROS1 and ROS2 on Ubuntu 20.04. Pro and LiDAR models pair an RK3588 motion host with an NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX perception host for AI workloads such as SLAM, visual recognition and reinforcement learning. Four configurations — Basic, Venture, Pro and LiDAR — scale from entry-level teaching to full autonomy, each delivering 1.5–2 hours of continuous operation and up to 5 km of range per charge.
